  Ascension turns 100 years old this year! While I can't vouch for more than the last 34 years, Ascension has been a home for me since I was baptized there in 1982.
  
  Many things have changed over the years, but one thing that never changes is how open and welcoming the congregation is. Whether you go every week, are a first time visitor, or haven't been to services in a while, a word of welcome and a smile are always there to welcome you. Our current Pastor, George Dietrich, is young and full of ideas. He is very supportive of the various programs that the church offers- Bible Study for our adults (which he runs), Sunday School for our youth, and our newest and most popular program, the Mustard Seed Food Pantry that helps to feed between 5 and 15 families in Haddon Heights, Barrington, and Lawnside.
  
  Come out any Sunday and say hi!
